AyeTap allows users to create surveys or opinion polls called TapCasts, and invite others to vote on those TapCasts. Those who are invited to vote will then pass the TapCast along to others to vote. While voting on a TapCast requires an invitation, TapCasts themselves are public and can be viewed by other users at any time, including all information related to the TapCast such as voting options, voting areas, open and close dates, discussion board posts, TapMaps and other data results.
Note: The TapCasts you create and participate in are public and will be viewed by others all around the world.
AyeTap has a special feature called a TapMap which allows users to see connections between users who voted on the same TapCast. All users who vote on a particular TapCast will be added to a TapMap which shows the originator of the TapCast and each subsequent group of users who voted on the TapCasts, including identifiers that show who invited each user to vote and who each user subsequently invited to vote. By default, your full name will be featured on the TapMap for each TapCast you vote on. You may, however, elect to hide your name from the TapMap. Your cell phone number will never be displayed on the TapMap.
